Redditors host GO Viewing Party in UNU

Over the past week, the internet has been captivated by the historic GO matchup between Google DeepMind’s AlphaGO AI and Lee Sedong, one of the most decorated players in history. But while many people are calling this matchup this generation’s version of Kasparov vs DeepBlue, if you watched any of the live stream, you know that the hours-long matches haven’t exactly made for appointment viewing.

Unless, of course, you were watching in UNU. With the recent addition of live-streaming to the world’s first intelligent chat, any live stream is transformed into a fun, shared experience.

Without UNU, watching 4 hours of GO would be a test of endurance. With UNU, it’s a party. Even though the event ended at nearly 3AM on the East Coat, hundreds of people from across the internet spent their Friday night togethercracking jokes, asking questions, and maybe even learning a little bit about GO.

The questions ranged from the silly…

Alpha Go vs itself

…to the serious…

Alpha Go Lee Brave

…to the completely insane (click PLAY on the video below)
