It was another strong week for UNU, with the Swarm Intelligence system making accurate predictions across a diverse range of topics from the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy, to Week 14 of the NFL, to English Premier League soccer.  Here are a few highlights:

INTEREST RATES:

UNU correctly predicted this weeks interest rate hike of 0.25%.  It was the first rate hike this year, and only the second in a decade, so it was a rare event indeed.  Here’s a replay of the swarm making it’s confident pick last week:

ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE SOCCER

On Wednesday, UNU correctly predicted the outcome of all eight English Premier League games. Picking eight winners in eight games would be an incredible feat in American football, but soccer is even harder as matches often end in a draw.  This means the Swarm didn’t just pick all the winners and losers correctly, it also picked the day’s only tie:

NFL FOOTBALL:

On this side of the pond football means the NFL and UNU has been making picks every week.  While UNU has been impressive, this week was especially strong with the Swarm A.I. going 12-3 picking winners, including both the underdog Green Bay Packers and Miami Dolphins. And this was a notoriously difficult week to pick winners in the NFL, as Ron Jaworski can attest: the highly paid ESPN expert went 8-8 picking winners. Had some lucky bettor placed equal wagers on all 15 games, they would have earned 33% ROI, which is the sort of profit that Warren Buffett can only dream of.

Perhaps even more exciting for UNU Football were its results Against the Spread, where the Swarm ranks its games both by Confidence and by Brainpower.
