AI SEES GAME 4 AS WORLD SERIES TURNING POINT
It had to happen sometime. Yesterday our World Series Swarm finally missed a game. The Astros chased Los Angeles starter Yu Darvish with a four-run second inning, and then got sparkling relief from regular season starter Brad Peacock to seal the deal. That puts the Astros up two games to one, headed to tonight’s game four.
Tonight’s game matches Dodger southpaw Alex Wood against hard-throwing Houston starter Charlie Morton. The MLB Swarm – which counted the Dodger bullpen as a strength earlier in the series – now seems to think they’ve been over-exposed and overused against the Astros, and gives that key edge to the Astros in the series going forward. The replay below shows the swarm picking the Dodgers to even things tonight, but there’s not nearly enough consensus there for us to call this anything but a high-risk pick. One thing for certain: the importance of tonight’s contest can’t be overstated. The swarm believes that the winning team in game four is very likely to win the World Series.
