The NBA season has just a few weeks remaining, and things are in full crunch time playoff mode. Clubs just barely in the playoffs are trying desperately to hold on. Teams that have locked in a playoff spot are looking to improve their prospects for home court advantage. And the squads on the outside looking in have to find their own motivations to play the spoiler role at this time of year. The NBA Swarm considered all those underlying factors for tonight’s games and made these predictions.
This week the swarm’s decision for its pick of the night came down to a choice between two first place clubs. Toronto hosts a Denver Nuggets team that has been struggling lately and may miss the playoffs. As favorable as that matchup looks for the Raptors, the game the swarm ended up going with as its best bet of the night is the Houston Rockets hosting Chicago.
As the replay shows, this is a highly confident pick for the swarm to make. Even with the Rockets resting MVP candidate James Harden this evening, the group thinks the Rockets’ depth will be more than enough to handle the Bulls. The group takes the puck quickly to a “high confidence” prediction and then reinforces it with a maximum hypothetical bet on the contest.
