Building on an incredible 10 of 11 record last week, the swarm laid down a set of 10 predictions for Sunday’s action, with highest confidence in Manchester City and United, and was one draw short of perfection. Naturally, the EPL Swarm doesn’t just register predictions, it offers insight into its confidence on every outcome. When the dust settled, both of the swarm’s best bets had won easily ( by 5 and 2 goals respectively ) and all 4 of its next highest confidence picks were also victorious. Here the swarm predicted a Liverpool victory by 2 goals or more, and the final tally was 3-0.
If you were brave enough to wager on the swarm’s high-risk plays, you would have been handsomely rewarded, as only a draw between Leicester City and Bournemouth prevented a perfect day on the pitch. Using this information, one wise member of our community laid down a $10 wager that paid over $65, generating an incredible 650% Return on Investment.
The final weeks of the EPL season can be difficult to predict due to the shifting motivations of the teams involved, making the swarm’s 9-1 record all the more impressive. In comparison, the BBC’s SAM predictions went 7-3 this weekend, a number that would typically be worth bragging about but was easily bested by our swarm.
Man City striker Gabriel Jesus arrived in the EPL in January and scored 7 goals in his 11 appearances. Reflecting on his prolific debut this weekend, he told ESPN Brasil, “I thought the EPL would be harder.” While forecasting sporting events as diverse as the EPL and the Kentucky Derby remains a daunting challenge, with our EPL swarms finishing the season on a 19-2 streak, we know how Gabriel Jesus feels, if just for the moment.
Every week during the EPL season, Unanimous A.I. conducted swarms to pick the outcomes of games. While the EPL season has ended, if you’d like to either join a similar swarm or just get the predictions weekly, feel free to drop us a line below.
