The EPL Swarm convened by Unanimous AI was on fire in Week 5, correctly predicting outcome ( win, lose, or draw ) of 8 in 10 weekend matches. Had Southampton not conceded a tying goal in stoppage time, that record would have improved to an even more gaudy 9-1. Those results were not a mere flash in the pan for the EPL Swarm, however, as the group of Premier League fans has successfully forecast 35 of 50 matches heading into Week 6.
For Week 6, the EPL Swarm offered its usual set of predictions, which included two “Best Bets” and another four games worthy of consideration, ranked in order of the AI’s confidence. The Best Bets were distinguished a high confidence that the chosen team would not only win, but do so by more than 2 goals. Since goals can often be so difficult to come by, a spread of 2+ typically pays rather well, regardless of the talent gap between two teams.
With all that in mind, only lucky member of the EPL Swarm turned the AI’s forecast into real profit by constructing an three team Against the Spread parlay of both Best Bets as well as the highest confidence pick from the next tier, Tottenham to defeat Brighton. The risk is reflected in the reward. Certainly Cardiff City and Southampton are overmatched by Man. City and Liverpool, but that three team parlay offered an enticing 300% Return on Investment, and that’s exactly what it paid the member of the EPL Swarm who shared his ticket with Unanimous AI on Sunday.
Here is a replay of the EPL making its forecast for the Liverpool game. Each of the magnets in the video below represents one member of the swarm.
