Apparently the baseball gods were not amused, and we followed that with a mediocre 8-8 performance. Maybe there’s something to those old ballpark superstitions about never talking about a no-hitter while your pitcher is in the middle of one.
Even so, we’d be neglecting things to not mention that since that 8-8 hiccup, the swarm has followed with a 42-18 record in the two weeks since. If you’re keeping track, that’s the swarm correctly predicting a scintillating 70% of the major league games played on Tuesdays and Fridays across a monthlong period. That’s the Yankees playing in Baltimore tonight, hoping to start the week before the All Star break with a win. Trade rumors are swirling in Charm City, with rumors of a massive incoming firesale, and it perhaps is that unease that’s playing into the swarm’s thinking here.

There are a few straggling magnets that initially try to sell a narrow Orioles win, but the vast consensus apparent here is for the Yankees to win this matchup comfortably. The swarm reaffirmed that feeling by giving this game highest dollar confidence of the session, and by choosing this game as their pick of the night.
