The weekly NFL Swarm approaches week 10 in the NFL season on a rocket-ride trajectory. After going 11-2 two weeks ago, the swarm went 9-3 last week straight up. And for you risk-lovers, the swarm went 7-4 against the spread last week as well, losing an 8-3 record on a garbage-time touchdown by Baltimore. Can they keep it up? Here’s their straight up predictions for the weekend.
This can’t have been an easy year to be a fan of the Niners or Browns. Both teams are winless this season, and things look pretty bleak for both franchises. For San Francisco, though, the swarm sees (with shaky confidence) a win this week. As far as Cleveland goes, well, maybe next time? For this week, the swarm made Detroit their pick of the week to beat the Browns. They assigned a maximum betting confidence, and also put both high brainpower and confidence into this one.
When we look at the much higher-risk Against the Spread chart, things get a bit topsy-turvy. Here’s how that breaks down.
While the swarm has a lot of confidence in some of some of those double-digit spread games, that’s straight up. Any spread of 10 or more should give some pause, and that’s what we see here. For the top pick against the spread, the swarm recommends taking a look at the Patriots on the road in Denver on Sunday. The group thinks the Pats will win by 10-12, which is well clear of the 7.5-point number currently on the board in Vegas.
