For good or bad, Brexit will go down as a historic event in British – and European – history. As the world digests, researchers at Unanimous AI wanted to see what Americans would have to say about the landmark “Brexit” referendum.
To find out, researchers formed a Swarm Intelligence comprised of 46 randomly-selected voting age Americans, and asked them the question that’s on everyone’s mind – what does this mean for the EU? By thinking together as a swarm, the participants converged on an answer that maximized the confidence and conviction of the group. Here is a replay of the swarm:
Research Note: Again, all participants who contributed to this Swarm Intelligence were American citizens. This could be an asset, as the predictions were likely made from a less emotional stance than the data coming out of the UK and Europe. On the flip side, Americans don’t follow the nuances of the Brexit situation as closely as those directly involved. Only time will tell if this outlook is accurate…
If you want to talk about Brexit, or any other currents events, just drop by UNU and ask the Swarm anything…
