With the calendar flipped to February, we are now in the time of year when the game of hockey begins to subtly change. There’s a little more grabbing, a heavier checking, and players in general start ramping up the effort as the drive into the postseason gets underway in earnest. For the group of NHL fans who predict hockey games with Unanimous AI’s swarming platform each week, they’ve got to be aware of which teams will be fighting hard these last two months versus those who have already cashed out.
It’s a fairly interesting chart of picks for this week. No surprise to see the Bruins in the top tier along with “Competent team playing the Buffalo Sabres”. We’d caution some extra care on the Colorado and Philadelphia picks, as those have troubling levels of swarm dissent undercutting fairly confident hypothetical bet totals. This week, though, we’ll focus on the frozen northern prairie and the swarm’s pick of the night, Winnipeg.
Go ahead and call Officer Krupke out to arrest the NHL Swarm, because today when they’re Jets, they’re Jets all the way. Arizona showed some brief flickers of life earlier in the month, but of late they’ve been back to their losing ways. The magnets in the replay above form a rapid consensus here on a 2-goals-plus win for Winnipeg. The swarm buttressed that confidence marker with a $100 hypothetical wager and naming the Jets as the pick of the night tonight.
