Meet (Co)agents™
Why the Future of Meetings Belongs to Proactive AI Teammates
Every business leader knows the frustration of a meeting stalled by missing context. Critical decisions are routinely made based only on who happens to be in the room, while vital insights remain trapped in corporate databases, buried on the open web, or held by absent stakeholders. After years of R&D into groupwise human-agent interactions, Unanimous AI has officially launched (Co)agents to solve this persistent enterprise bottleneck by introducing proactive AI coworkers directly into live team discussions.
Built on Unanimous AI’s patented Hyperchat AI engine, (Co)agents do not sit back and wait to be asked questions by the team. Instead, they actively track live groupwise conversations—across text, voice, or video conferencing—and strategically step in with accurate insights, evidence, or reasoning, precisely when the team needs it.
Beyond Passive Chatbots: Active (Co)workers
Traditional AI agents speak only when asked a question. (Co)agents flip this dynamic by serving as active, observing participants designed to support real-world business activities like forecasting, brainstorming, and complex problem-solving. This reinvents collaboration in the modern workplace. (Co)agents don’t just answer questions, they join the conversation in real-time, finding gaps, anticipating needs, challenging assumptions, and ensuring that teams is prepared to make well-informed decisions.

Three Specialized AI Coworkers
To cover the full spectrum of enterprise decision-making, Unanimous AI released three distinct types of (Co)agents:
-
Knowledge (Co)agents: Focus internally by parsing organizational data sources to surface relevant facts, evidence, and background reasoning.
-
Scouting (Co)agents: Focus externally by searching the open internet for real-time, up-to-the-minute information during active deliberations.
-
Brainstorming (Co)agents: Act as creative catalysts, generating unique, distinct alternatives that the human team may not have considered.
Proven Results: Smarter Teams and Better Outcomes
The impact of proactive participation by (Co)agents is backed by rigorous empirical research. In a 2024 study conducted by Unanimous AI and Carnegie Mellon University, 87% of human forecasters reported making stronger decisions thanks to real-time agent assistance. In a more recent large-scale forecasting study, 80 human participants collaborated with 20 proactive (Co)agents to predict the 2026 World Cup outcomes. The hybrid human-AI teams achieved high predictive accuracy—correctly forecasting Spain as the tournament champion, identifying Norway as a dark-horse quarterfinalist, and predicting Germany’s early tournament upset. Post-session evaluations revealed striking participant feedback:
-
90.9% found proactive (Co)agents helpful during group deliberations.
-
98.7% rated agentic contributions as clear and concise.
-
85.7% praised the agent’s conversational timing and non-disruptive etiquette.
-
87.0% concluded that (Co)agents will become vital enterprise tools.
Human-First Guardrails and Availability
Since its founding in 2014, Unanimous AI has operated under a “humans first” philosophy. (Co)agents were rigorously developed to support this goal, supporting human teams rather than replacing them. Every contribution is fully visible, attributed, auditable, and open to challenge by human participants, ensuring humans remain in complete control of final decisions.
(Co)agents are available immediately on Unanimous AI’s Thinkscape platform, with beta deployment available for Microsoft Teams and Slack, as well as custom API options for proprietary enterprise software. In addition, Unanimous AI was recently awarded a U.S. Air Force contract to integrate these agentic technologies into DoD Microsoft Teams (DoD365).
(C0)agents also work with Unanimous AI’s other recently announced technology, Hyperlingual which enables teams of any size to hold conversations across any number of languages.
