We’ve Been Busy…
We dig into four exciting milestones at Unanimous over the last four weeks.
[1] NEW TECH: Unanimous Enables the First-Ever Debate Between Humans and AI Agents
Last week, Unanimous AI enabled the world’s first conversational debate among human participants and AI agents. We did using powerful new capability that we have added to our Thinkscape platform. The 40-minute session was used to forecast the winner of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Rather than simply polling participants or aggregating AI outputs separately, Thinkscape enabled humans and AI agents to exchange reasoning, challenge each other’s positions, and converge toward a shared prediction through our patented Collective Superintelligence approach.
Why it matters: For the first time, AI agents didn’t just assist humans — they participated alongside them as peers in a structured deliberative process. This is a meaningful step toward true Human-AI collaboration at scale.

[2] NEW PAPER: Hyperchat AI Outperforms Vegas Bookmakers and Polymarket Prediction Market
A new peer-reviewed study conducted by Unanimous AI in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University demonstrates that small teams of human forecasters connected through our Hyperchat AI technology outperform Polymarket, one of the world’s leading prediction markets, by a statistically significant margin. Across 50 NBA game predictions, Thinkscape-powered teams of just 25 people achieved 62% forecasting accuracy, compared to 55% for Polymarket.
The takeaway: Collective Superintelligence — small, hyperconnected teams amplified by AI — consistently outperforms the wisdom of crowds and large-scale prediction markets. Quality of connection matters more than quantity of participants.

[3] NEW PATENTS: Unanimous Awarded Two New Patents from U.S. Patent Office
We are pleased to announce that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has granted Unanimous AI two new patents covering the core technology inside our Thinkscape® platform and its Hyperchat AI engine:
US Patent 12,652,261 System and Method for AI-Mediated Conversations Among Large Networked Populations
US Patent 12,634,250 Method and System for Enabling Real-Time AI-Facilitated Conversation Among Large Networked Human Groups
Together, these patents reinforce the deep intellectual property moat we have built around Hyperchat AI technology and the Thinkscape platform, protecting the underlying methods and systems that make large-scale, real-time human-AI collaboration possible. These bring our total patent portfolio to 39 Issued Patents, a growing body of granted IP covering the fundamental methods and systems for building Collective Superintelligence and enabling AI-mediated group communication.
[4] NEW TALK: Dr. Louis Rosenberg Presented Hyperchat AI technology at IEEE HAXD
Our CEO and Chief Scientist, Dr. Louis Rosenberg, took the stage at IEEE HAXD 2026, the 2nd International Conference on Human-AI Interaction and Experience Design, to present the core science and concepts behind Hyperchat AI. His presentation covered how Hyperchat AI enables groups of people to think together in real time, harness and amplify their collective intelligence, and consistently outperform both individual AI models and unstructured human discussion.
